I find that every summer, I waste more time inside in the cool basement, glued to my laptop, my TV, my DVD collection and my video games. Hell, right now it's a gorgeous day outside, with the sun shining, and the birds chirping, yet here I am, at my laptop, having just come off a World of Warcraft session.
I should be outside, accomplishing other things: reading a book. Knitting, or crocheting a project. Painting a fence. Building a fort. Anything, except being inside and glued to my electronic crack toys.
So, here's how it is. You join, you post an intro with your mini-project for the summer. You report back on how it went. You post a new mini-project. Lather, rinse, repeat.
If it's raining? Complete your project anyway! The weather doesn't stop to accommodate us, and neither should we give into its whims.
For the truly daring, we encourage you to keep an off-line journal for your project reports, and then check in with us once a week with what you've done.
To help you out, here's all you need to get going:

Just a note: Weekly check-ins requires the keeping of an off-line journal, for your personal records, and so you don't forget all that's you've accomplished!
